The ATV market is not what it once was when I was younger. I have owned other ATVs, but this was my first 'new' four-wheeler. What to buy? My mind was made up as soon as I drove it at the dealer. Stab the throttle and it will happily oblige you with a wheelie. COOL! I originally went to the dealer seeking the power steering model, not because I thought I needed it, but because the magazine guys rave about it. Well, the steering on this thing is so light; I would not want power steering. I am amazed at how sporty the steering feels. Take in consideration my previous ATVs have all been Honda 350, 400-450s, which were bulletproof but very heavy utility-feeling. I just got divorced so I decided I deserved to have some fun for a change. The Grizzly delivers in spades! The suspension is plush and comfy. The motor is incredible. It may not be the fastest, but it accelerates very fast and puts a big smile on my face! Downhill engine braking is superb. I could not believe an automatic 4x4 had that type of control and confidence inspiring feel on really big downhill treks. I put 30 miles on it the first day just taking it easy and getting a feel for it. I tried to challenge the 4x4 system a little with some gnarly rocks, stumps, trees, mud and hill climbs but the Grizz would not be intimidated. It just ate the trail obstacles up. I am very pleased with this purchase. I will update as I put more miles on this bike, but so far I am loving it!
